purple rainboots day

Today started with a much needed deluge of rain and brilliant display of thunder and lightning..much to the dismay of my sucky pooch Savannah..The Green grass is greener than ever..and the leaves are popping up on the trees as if impatient to strut their stuff to the world..i wisely took a full day to reconnect with my own little natural world here and felt nourished by a little weeding and digging..and letting all the beasties out to roam -a walk down the road proved more satisfying than an eliptical ride..off to the Big city tomorrow..so needed to get in as much oxygen and natural eye candy as possible today..

the cats also remind me it's good to snuggle up and just rest for a bit too..

later my daughter and i visited a local pie shop  http://www.williamsfordpiecompany.ca/ and book store http://www.greatbooks.ca/ for a bit of browsing ..and then ..home again..:-)
